The cottage is in a quiet, but central part of Askrigg, close to the church, phone box, shops, and places to eat.

This modern cottage has many traditional features such as timber beamed ceilings and a log-burning stove, as well as modern comforts of double glazing and electric radiators or storage heaters throughout.

The Self-catering Accommodation & Facilities

The Ground Floor

The ground floor consists of an entrance lobby, heated and with clothes racks. The kitchen is light and airy, well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine/dryer, a wall heater and plenty of storage space. The large sitting room with dining area, has a door at the southern end leading to a small, high-walled, secluded patio garden. A barbecue is available and there is a secure storage shed for bicycles. The cottage has covered, off-street parking. The main windows of the sitting room face west and enjoy the evening sun. There are two comfortable sofas, coffee tables, dining table and chairs, a log-burning stove, and TV with VCR.

Upstairs

• Upstairs consists of a double bedroom with a sloping roof which faces south with views of the dale and fells.
• There is an ensuite bathroom with cubicle shower.
• The twin room has two single beds and faces west, with a view across the dale. There is a TV with DVD/VCR.
• The main bathroom has a full-sized bath with shower and screen.

Weekly Rental

£330 - £495 per week, according to season.

Other Information

• The cottage is strictly Non Smoking
• One well-behaved pet is welcome at a charge of £10 per visit.
• Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks are available in the main season at very short notice, or winter breaks between Mid-November and Mid-March.
• The rent includes all heating, power, bed linen and towels.
• A cot and stairgate can be hired at £5 each.
