The
cottage is in a quiet, but central part of Askrigg, close to the church, phone
box, shops, and places to eat.
This modern cottage has many traditional features such as timber beamed ceilings, as well as modern comforts of double glazing and storage heaters throughout.
The
ground floor consists of an entrance lobby, heated and with clothes
racks. The kitchen is light and airy, well equipped with an electric
cooker, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine/dryer, a wall heater and plenty
of storage space. The large sitting room with dining area,
has a door at the southern end leading to a
small, high-walled, secluded patio garden. A barbecue is available and there is a secure storage shed for bicycles. The cottage has covered, off-street parking. The main windows of the sitting room face west and enjoy the evening sun. There are two
comfortable sofas, coffee tables, dining table and chairs, an electric fire, and TV with DVD/VCR.
Upstairs consists of a double bedroom with a sloping roof which faces
south with views of the dale and fells. There is an ensuite bathroom
with cubicle shower.
The twin room faces west and is next to the main bathroom with
full size bath with over-bath shower and screen.
£315 - £485 per week, according to season.
